Il Posto Restaurant is delighted to announce the 14th birthday of this family run business. Co-owners Amanda and Susannah have been successfully trading under the same ownership on St. Stephen’s Green. Head Chef Oscar is considered family. He joined the team 10 years ago, his background deeply rooted in some of the tastiest Italians in Los Angeles. Together they ensure that customer service, attention to detail, exacting standards and delicious, well-priced food have helped to ensure the unique longevity of the restaurant.
Both their regular and new customers are welcomed into an atmosphere where the staff endeavour to create a warm and friendly dining experience as if they were in the heart of Milan or Rome, in this charming basement location on St. Stephen’s Green.
Guests can avail of Il Posto’s signature dishes from their a la carte menu, which include starters like Seared Scallops with Celeriac and Balsamic or Mussels Steamed in White Wine, Garlic and Lemon. Mains include classics such as Linguine Vongole and Spaghetti Bolognese, fish dishes of Swordfish and Hake and to finish the most popular dessert Amaretto Chocolate Mousse.
Il Posto also happily caters for vegans and any special dietary requirements, always ensuring that customer service and focus continues to be their main priority.
